“God always forgives. Humans sometimes forgive. “Nature never forgives.”

Shinhan University President Kang Seong-jong, the chief editor of Gyeonggi Multicultural News, has been raising voices warning of the Earth's climate crisis for a long time.

Climate crisis refers to a phenomenon in which various pollutants are emitted into the Earth's atmosphere due to human greed and economic activities, resulting in global warming and climate change.

Due to the severity of the climate crisis, many scholars and conscious people around the world are calling for global efforts to explain the threat of global warming and mitigate climate change.

President Kang Seong-jong recorded a one-minute column for Far East Broadcasting on August 12th with the title “God Always Forgives.” He seems to think that it is too late for us to turn around the climate crisis. So we say we must all turn to God.

For Earth Day 2021, Pope Francis said, "God always forgives. Man sometimes forgives. Nature never forgives.".

Nature doesn't just suddenly retaliate. Humans ignored nature's warnings and did not listen to them.

Nature has shown us many yellow cards and given us plenty of reprieve. But human greed and selfishness have turned our best friends into enemies.

Now nature has unleashed its most terrifying revenge on our species. No one can stop it. No country, not the UN, the US, the UK, or China can stop it. Only God can do it.

Humanity's final hope lies when we repent to God for all our mistakes, let go of greed and selfishness, and seek His mercy and grace once again.
