In a Friday advisory, Jetti Petroleum President Leo Bellas said diesel prices could rise by PHP1.20 to PHP1.40 per liter, while gasoline prices may increase by PHP0.30 to PHP0.50 per liter, based on Asian benchmark prices and foreign exchange movements as of Thursday.

BI records 6% hike in passenger arrivals in 2025 MANILA - Over 15.6 million passenger arrivals nationwide were recorded in 2025, the Bureau of Immigration reported Thursday.
In a statement, Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said immigration officers at all international ports of entry recorded 15,608,868 arrivals, including 6,704,007 foreign nationals, from January to December 2025
He said the figure represents an almost 6 percent increase compared to the 14,733,597 recorded in 2024.
