Diesel prices seen increasing by up to P2.70/liter next week                                                          MANILA, Philippines - Motorists must brace themselves for another hefty diesel price hike of as much as P2.70 a liter next week.

In an advisory Friday, Jetti Petroleum Leo Bellas said diesel prices may jump by P2.50 to P2.70 a liter starting Nov. 4.

Korea anticipates early winter chills as temperatures drop dramatically across the region                                                                                  It looks like Korea is skipping autumn and heading straight into winter this year, as a blast of cold air from the north is expected to bring early winter-like chills to Korea on Monday and commuters can expect the coldest morning of the season so far.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) on Sunday, temperatures on Monday morning are forecast to drop to a low of 2 and 14 degrees Celsius (36 to 57 degrees Fahrenheit).

Hanggang Bus service suspended for further testing following mechanical failures   Just 10 days into operation, Seoul will suspend passenger service on its new Hanggang buses for one month starting Monday to carry out test runs aimed at stabilizing operations and addressing issues, the city government announced on Sunday.         The city plans to resume service by the end of October following a period of new passenger trial operations.
