The Korean government (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) is holding a ‘Travel Month’ event from February 20th to March 31st. Last year, the ‘Travel Month’ (korean.visitkorea.or.kr/travelmonth) event was held only once in June, but starting this year, it will be held twice a year in March and June. If you purchase a tourism-related combination product (accommodation, experience ticket, KTX, etc.) sold by a major online travel agency, you can receive a discount of up to 50% on high-speed rail (KTX) on weekdays and 30% on weekends and holidays. If you use a tourism combination product, you can also use air tickets to regional destinations on 4 domestic routes and rental cars at discounted rates. Railway and rental car discount products will be available from March 1, and advance reservations will be accepted from February 20, and discounts will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis for a limited number.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is distributing discount coupons that provide a 30,000 won discount when booking lodging products exceeding 50,000 won in non-metropolitan areas from February 27 to March 31.
The way to receive a discount is to access the app or web of an online company that sells lodging products, such as Yanolja, Yeogi Eottae, Coupang Travel, or Socar, obtain a discount coupon, then select a lodging product and receive the discount. However, if you do this, you are only purchasing accommodations and you must make your own travel plans, including transportation.
(Use the travel product special exhibition!) If you purchase a domestic travel product through the ‘travel product special exhibition’, you can solve accommodation, transportation, and sightseeing all at once. This special exhibition can be viewed on the ‘Travel Month’ website.
