If you are a multicultural family who has not yet had a wedding for various reasons, why not try one in a beautiful forest in Korea?
The National Park Service operates a program that provides free ‘weddings in the forests of national parks’ to vulnerable groups such as multicultural families and foreign residents. Starting in 2021, the ‘Wedding in the National Park Forest’ was held 93 times until last year, and this year, we decided to expand the ‘Remind Wedding Photography’ project targeting elderly couples aged 65 or older.
Applications for weddings and reminder wedding photography in the forests of national parks can be made through the National Park Service website (www.knps.or.kr) until April 20th, for a total of 40 couples (20 newlyweds, 20 elderly couples). We are planning to select
If you are selected, you can have a free wedding at the National Ecological Exploration Center, an ecological cultural space in the national park.
In particular, those eligible can enjoy special experiences such as overall wedding management and lodging, including wedding halls, mobile wedding invitations, and formal wear rentals, as well as yacht and horseback riding experiences. We also offer eco-tourism so you can remember precious moments in beautiful natural scenery.
Ecotourism provided by 9 ecological exploration centers across the country includes a variety of programs, including ▲horseback riding experience, ▲mood lighting making, ▲wedding photo album making, and ▲mug and calyx experience.
In particular, the National Park Service supports wedding venue rental and space design through professional companies so that you can have a beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime wedding. Flowers (bouquets), one night of lodging, honeymoon (ecotourism), etc. are also free. However, the number of guests attending the wedding is limited to 50.
Song Hyeong-geun, chairman of the National Park Service, said, “We will do our best to help everyone in the country create a happy future in the beautiful nature of the national park.”
