*What is the Culture Nuri Card? : The Culture Nuri Card support project is a project that supports cultural arts, travel, and sports activities for those aged 6 or older (born before December 31, 2018) who are recipients of basic livelihood security, the lower-income class, and single-parent families. The Culture Nuri Card subsidy, which relieves the burden of cultural expenses for vulnerable groups, will increase from 110,000 won per year last year to 130,000 won this year.

*Who can get one? : Culture Nuri Card can be issued to recipients of basic livelihood security and the next lower class (age 6 or older, born before December 31, 2018). Basic livelihood recipients refer to recipients of livelihood, medical, housing, and education benefits. Low-income single-parent families can also receive it.

*Where can I use it? : The Culture Nuri Card can be used at over 29,000 affiliated stores in the culture and arts, domestic travel, and sports fields nationwide. In particular, with the Culture Nuri Card, you can purchase movie admission tickets, tickets to watch four major professional sports (volleyball, basketball, soccer, and baseball), admission to performance and exhibition halls, musical instrument purchase fees, travel and other lodging expenses, amusement park (theme park) admission tickets, and sports facility use tickets.

Additionally, admission ticket sharing (free or discounted) donated by cultural arts organizations can be used up to 4 tickets per person, up to 3 times per month.

*How do I get it issued? : Applications for new issuance of this year’s Culture Nuri Card can be made until November 30th through nationwide community centers, the Culture Nuri Card website, by phone (ARS 1544-3412), or through the mobile app.

Additionally, if you were a Culture Nuri Card user last year and maintain your eligibility, this year's subsidy will be automatically recharged without a separate application. Those whose support funds have been automatically recharged will receive a text message notifying them that automatic recharge has been completed.

*Is it convenient to use? : The Culture Nuri Card can be used in the same way as a credit card. In order for users to conveniently use mobile apps other than cards, we are introducing a new biometric authentication (fingerprint, face) login method in addition to personal information (name, resident registration number, mobile phone number) authentication. In addition, we plan to increase the limit on the amount of personal recharge that users can use in addition to the government subsidy from a maximum of 100,000 won to 300,000 won per time to minimize inconvenience caused by frequent recharge and insufficient usage within the year.
