Purchased rental housing #4441 Recruiting tenants... move-in in August at the earliest

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport started recruiting tenants for the second rental housing this year for young people and newlyweds in 15 cities and provinces across the country from June 22.

Usually, newlyweds refer to those who have been married for less than 7 years, but for some purchased rental housing, married households after 7 years can apply, so take a closer look.

Purchased rental housing refers to the direct purchase of multi-unit or multi-unit housing from the Korea Land and Housing Corporation, and then supplying them to eligible common people. The location is usually good and the rent is cheap.

A total of 4441 units of purchased rental housing are recruited this time, including 2232 units for young people and 2209 units for newlyweds.

Applicants can move in from the end of August at the earliest after going through eligibility verification.

Young people can live in purchased rental housing for up to 6 years at a low rent of 40-50% of the market price.

Newlyweds purchased rental housing is newlyweds type I (No. 1492), which can live at 30-40% of the market price in a multi-family house and it is supplied as typeⅡ(No. 717) for newlyweds who can live at 60-80% of the market price in apartments and officetels.

Newlyweds who have been married for less than 7 years, prospective newlyweds, and households raising children under the age of 6 can apply for rental housing for newlyweds. In addition, general married households who meet the qualifications can apply for some types (newlyweds II).

You can check the purchased rental housing for young people (No. 1550) and newlyweds (No. 2209) recruited by the Korea Land and Housing Corporation on the website of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation Subscription Center from June 22. Many places start accepting applications in July, so be sure to check it out.

You can check the youth purchase rental housing recruited by Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation or Gyeonggi Housing and Communities Corporation on the website of each agency. Please check the following for specific application qualifications.

*Youth Purchase and Lease: Youth aged 19-39, university students, job seekers (within 2 years after graduation)

* Dormitory-type youth housing: college students, graduate students, youth aged 19-39

*Newlyweds Purchase & Lease I: Newlyweds (within 7 years), prospective newlyweds, single-parent families (children under 6 years old), married families with children (children under 6 years old)

* Newlyweds Purchase & Lease II: Newlyweds (within 7 years), prospective newlyweds, single-parent families (children under the age of 6), married households
