High school students received 654,000 won, middle school students 589,000 won, and elementary school students 415,000 won. 50% of the standard median income is 2,217,408 won for a household of three and 2,700,482 won for a household of four. If multicultural families also met this standard, they would have received education benefits.

* Educational activity expenses for children of multicultural families: Educational activity expenses are also paid to children of low-income multicultural families with incomes of 50% to 100% of the median income or less, which is very welcome news for multicultural families who have not previously received educational benefits. Since 80% of the educational benefit is paid, high school students can receive 523,200 won, middle school students 471,200 won, and elementary school students 332,000 won

Expansion of business for multicultural family

*Increased support for children from multicultural families: The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family decided to increase the number of centers that support basic learning for children from multicultural families to 168, and for emotional and career counseling, an increase of 30 to 143.
