51 OFWs, 23 dependents repatriated from Dubai                                                                                   MANILA, Philippines - Fifty- one overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and 23 dependents have returned to the Philippines from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (Owwa) said Sunday.

According to Owwa, the repatriates landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 on the evening of July 25.

'Peso to stay under pressure'                              MANILA, Philippines - The peso is expected to remain under pressure in the coming months as higher oil prices, firm demand for the dollar and a seasonal increase in imports strain the country's external position, according to BMI.

(JFC) said its flagship Jollibee brand posted a 32-percent increase in brand value to $3.3 billion, allowing it to retain its position as the Philippines's second most valuable brand for the third straight year.
