I am Russian national and I have an F-1 visa. My husband is a compatriot who has an F-4 visa. Currently, I am remarried and have two children aged 14 and 17 from my first marriage. My children also live in Korea, but they are not compatriots, so they enter Korea on a C-3 visa and then return back to Russia within every three months. Is there any way for my children to receive a long-term visa?

In this case, it is difficult to obtain a long-term visa if the overseas Korean husband does not adopt his wife's children. In order to obtain a visa for the minor children of a remarried wife, the husband must first go through the process of adoption.

A similar case is the case with an immigrated youth whose mother remarries a Korean man and enters Korea, but is a Korean multicultural family, so the child can get a long-term visa even if the husband does not adopt his wife's children. This is because there are separate regulations in this regard.
