that has been underway since 2014. Through consulting from a furniture
installation expert, it provided customized furniture for the applicant's age,
number of children, and study room structure, leading the healthy growth of
children and adolescents in their growing years.
This year, about 25 households of children
and adolescents of school age (ages 8 to 19) living in the metropolitan area
(Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi) will be selected and applied for. All expenses are
borne by the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation.
Applications for support are made through
the recommendation of welfare organizations such as the Support Center for
Healthy Families and Multicultural Families, and the person in charge of the
welfare institution can apply through the Woori Multicultural Scholarship
Foundation website by December 3rd.
The foundation plans to select applicants
in December, taking into consideration the applicant's income level, residence
status, life history, and whether or not they need support through document
screening and on-site inspection. Detailed information can be found on the
website of the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation.
Son Tae-seung, president of Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation, said, “Due to COVID-19, home study time is increasing, so they will need support for study furniture. I hope you develop your motivation to learn in a pleasant and stable study room and grow up healthy and happy."
